A yoga retreat for Women

Mind + Body + Nature Retreat

Sometimes we need a meaningful break, but we also want to create positive changes for ourselves! These competing desires make it hard to know what to do first, and that can result in no real improvements. (I’ve been there for sure!) 😕


If rest and progress have spent too long on the “to-do” list, join Sarah and myself for an opportunity to make headway on both those goals! 📋✔️


This retreat is perfect for anyone who is ready for some relaxation and personal growth, but would also like some guidance along the way. 🌲🧭


It's a great trip for beginners or folks who want a refresher, as we'll teach all the skills required. There’s no need to have previous yoga or paddling experience, and our lakeside cabins are super cozy! ⛺


Sarah and I will make sure everyone has some simple, personalized actions to bring home so the momentum is maintained. We are big believers in empowering others, and are happy to share all our "secrets!"  😄📖


We’ve taken care of all the logistics to make this retreat truly stress-free. (Helping us with dishes is not allowed!) 😉 All that’s required is to show up and enjoy. 😌❤️


Activities Include:


  • Yoga, mindfulness, and meditation classes.
  • Workshops on stretching, core & back strength, motivation, burnout, and more!
  • Canoeing, kayaking, and hiking.
  • Time to read, swim, or lounge on the dock.


About Meals:

  • My favourite healthy/easy meals, made fresh! 
  • We'll be eating mostly vegetarian, with plenty of room for vegan and gluten/dairy free or allergy accommodation - just let us know in the registration.
  • Recipes will be shared afterwards!


Sample Itinerary: 


6:30am Optional morning yoga class, meditation, or paddle

7:30am Breakfast

9:00am Go on a hike or paddle

1:00pm Lunch

2:00pm Afternoon workshop

5:00pm Free time or optional yoga.

6:30pm Dinner

8:00pm Evening meditation or fire

9:30pm Move toward bed, reading, or stargazing


Thursday arrival time: between 12:00 - 2:00 pm

Sunday departure time: between 10:00 - 11:00 am

Who

This is a women's retreat.


No previous hiking, camping, paddling, or yoga skill needed. 


Ability to navigate rocky and moderately hilly trails required.


Cost 

$970/person, 

taxes included.


$250 deposit required to save your spot, balance of $720 due by June 1st.


Includes all meals, accommodation, & equipment. All rooms are shared.


Getting there is up to you, but carpool options are available!

More about our co-guide, Sarah Eby

Sarah is caring, curious, and strong!

Sarah and I met through our yoga teacher network, and I liked her from the get-go as we "nerded out" about how neat the body is! I count myself lucky to be both friend and physio patient to her. :)


Sarah's motto is  “move, nature, nourish, sleep, connect" and it has served her well over the years. She began her journey into physiotherapy in 2006, and has since taught at the University of Toronto in the Master of Science in Physiotherapy Program, where she was once a student.


A true lover of learning, she has also completed courses in acupuncture, yoga, Pilates, and the "Integrated Systems Model" approach which looks at the entire body, not just the spot that hurts. 


She emphasizes patient empowerment, and I know you'll find her just as wonderful as I do.
