Wellness and yoga retreat

Women's Self-Care In Nature

If you want a little adventure with your empowerment, come discover the wonders that the lakes and forests have to show you, and rediscover your own inner strength, wisdom, and intuition.

Self-care doesn’t need to be expensive international flights and ultra posh resorts – there are plenty of beautiful and accessible locations right in our backyard! Killarney routinely draws visitors from all over the world for a good reason - the combination of topaz-blue lakes, red granite shoreline and white quartzite hills offer a unique beauty that has created an international reputation as a 'must-see' when in Ontario.

Explore the area with paddling and hiking excursions, then turn your attention inward with meditation, yoga classes, and intention-setting workshops that will help you become more physically strong and mentally resilient.

Beginners are very welcome!!!

We believe that everyone has unlimited potential, and as Shaw put it:

"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself."

What's included: Home-made, earth-friendly and locally sourced meals from Thursday afternoon to Sunday morning; all accommodation costs; all boats and equipment and extra yoga mats etc. if you need to borrow. (More info in the download provided below.)

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be fit for this trip?

The only thing you need to be able to do is walk on uneven ground as the Avalon is not paved and there are some paths to get around on.

The yoga, hiking, and paddling are for beginners as well so you don't need to be a pro in any of these areas, we'll teach you what you need to know and you can participate as much as you like.

If you have any mobility concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Are there blackflies or mosquitoes?

By September most of the bugs are gone for the year, which is one of the many beautiful things about this season. However if you're someone who tends to get eaten, we recommend some bug spray just in case.

Can I get a private room?

Due to the layout of the cabins we cannot provide private rooms, but there are private dressing areas in each cabin, as well as plenty of space between the beds so you're not all crammed in.

We can do our best to make sure friends can bunk in the same room, and if you have any concerns please feel free to reach out!

What do I need to bring?

We provide all the equipment and food you'll need, so you just need to bring your personal belongings. We'll send you a comprehensive packing list a couple of months before the trip and we always bring a few extra things, so you'll be well prepared.
