What is the Mind/Body Empowerment Method?

The MBEM is basically all of the most important exercise and lifestyle subjects that I teach almost all of my clients, packaged up in a tidy online program that can be self-directed or part of group classes and personal training.


The program is designed to help solve wellness overwhelm by cutting away unhelpful frills and refocusing on the most valuable and effective strategies many of us aren't doing to start with!

This program is for anyone who...

  • Is interested in the why behind exercise or lifestyle recommendations, so that they're not left feeling overwhelmed and mystified. (Don't worry - there's no quiz!)


  • Likes the sound of simple & effective workouts and lifestyle advice that will improve everyday function, foster long-term benefits that grow over time, and create confidence in their abilities! 

This content is NOT for people who...

  • Want a mindless quick-fix solution that will solve all their problems yesterday.


  • Want to focus only on weight loss or 6-pack abs without caring for their complete physical and mental health.

What's the foundation of the MBEM?

All workouts, even the most complex, are remixes of 7 foundational movements, and mastering these can solve a lot of the injury and accountability problems with fitness.


The 6 (+1) "primal movements" are:


  1. Squat
  2. Lunge
  3. Hinge
  4. Push
  5. Pull
  6. Twist

  • + Walking


Too often, our modern daily routines do not include all (or even most!) of these essential movements. If you don't use it you lose it, so let's make it a regular habit!

Lean into intuition and what works for YOU.

The MBEM contains everything I feel is most important! In addition to the primal movements, you can expect to find:

  • Core stability and strength
  • How to care for shoulders, hips, wrists, ankles, and the neck
  • Warm-ups and stretching
  • Intro to mindfulness and meditation + practical uses
  • Getting motivated and improving mindset
  • Procrastination, sleep, exercise planning... and more!

To cover payment processing and admin costs, a $15 fee will be subtracted from refunds.

More Detailed Details

How do I sign up?

Through my client management software, Practice Better. Once you enter all of the required info in the intake section, you'll pay using a credit card.


If you would rather pay by e-transfer, email me and we can work it out.


How do the payments work?

If it's the self-study program there is just the one payment of the full fee. 


If it's the group program, there is a deposit to save your spot and gain access to the group hub, plus two payments that come out on the start date and then 4 weeks later. You can also pay in full, just let me know via email and I can set that up.


For the self-study program, how does the refund period work?

You'll have two weeks to review the content of the first three sections. By that point you'll know how I work and if you like my style, and if you decide I'm not your jam you just email me before the two week trial period is up.


For the group study program, how does the refund period work?

When you pay your deposit, you'll gain access to the group hub but not the content itself until day one of the program. The 14 day period starts from the time you gain access to the content.


If you purchased the content separately and joined the group later, the refund periods apply separately. That means that if you have access to the content for more than 14 days you may not receive a refund on that component, but you may on the group portion. Refund fees are not adjusted.
